R and L Anthony was established in 1997 by Richard and Lyn Anthony. They have built the business from 110 acres of grassland to the substantial arable and forage business it is today. The arable area has increased gradually through contract farming agreements, farm business tenancies and our own land, based across the Vale of Glamorgan and Bridgend in South Wales. We pride ourselves on producing high quality arable and forage crops and have been recognised for several awards. We work very closely with industry leaders and host a substantial number of trials every year, for local and national benefit. Our highly skilled team are always pushing the boundaries and developing new techniques to make our farming system more sustainable and profitable.
The environment, soil health and conservation are very important to us, we are utilising precision farming and innovative farming techniques to protect our countryside. We work hard to promote and create habitat for wildlife wherever possible, not only to benefit our environment but also our farming system. Our carbon footprint is never far from our minds and we are researching and adapting our methods to reduce our impact on climate change.
